Fun Minimize

Chair:  Maury Wulbrecht (602.920.8171 or mauryw@cox.net)
Inject fun into our weekly club meetings in creative ways.  Plan monthly themed club
meetings and encourage members to dress and act the part, such as July 4 (committee
dress up as various “Founding Fathers”), World Series (baseball attire & food), Luau
(Hawaiian shirts), Halloween, ASU vs UofA Football (with competing cheerleaders and
fight songs) and various other excuses for outlandish fun.

Fund Raising-Grants and Sponsorships Minimize

Chair:  John Rothstein (602.791.7457 or John@azbenefitsadvantage.com)
Identify non-Rotarian potential donor companies, determine their application procedures, identify Rotarians who have connections with their executives (if any) and prepare requests for grants for our community projects, including those supported by our Gala.  And, solicit sponsorships for these projects and for various events, such as our Speech Contest, Hero Day (police/fire), Young Man/Woman of the Year, RYLA, International Youth Exchanges, etc.  Link with our Membership Committees (Corporate & Individual) in team efforts to jointly pursue new memberships and grants/sponsorships via these communications with targeted non-Rotarian companies.

Fund Raising-New Ideas and Sources Minimize

Chair:  Karny Stefan (602.546.2608 or kstefan@phoenixchildrens.com)
